Germán Palomares Salinas is the Founder and General Manager of Sell/Out, a strategic consultancy he established in 2017 to spearhead market entry and expansion for startups and mid-market enterprises within the Mexican landscape. A seasoned executive with a formidable track record in media and ad-tech, Germán specializes in scaling complex commercial operations and navigating the nuances of the regional business ecosystem.

Prior to founding Sell/Out, Germán served as the Country Manager for Advertising Sales at Roku, where he was instrumental in launching and developing the company’s commercial infrastructure in Mexico. His leadership in the digital media space is further evidenced by his tenure as Country Manager for Mexico and VP of Sales for Latin America at Canela Media. Previously, he led digital revenue strategy for Condé Nast Mexico and Latin America, where he modernized the publisher’s commercial portfolio by developing high-growth digital products that successfully complemented the company’s legacy print offerings.

Germán’s career is defined by his ability to bridge international media brands with local market opportunities. As the lead for the Dutch media powerhouse Zoomin.TV, he orchestrated the brand's redesign, relaunch, and operational strategy in Mexico, driving incremental sales through a rigorous global expansion framework. Earlier, as General Director for Mexico at Mitú Inc., he managed the U.S.-based company’s entire regional operation, reporting directly to the CRO in Los Angeles to align Mexican commercial efforts with global corporate objectives.

His foundational experience includes a pivotal tenure at Televisa Interactive Media—the digital arm of Latin America’s largest media conglomerate, Grupo Televisa. As Deputy Sales Director, he spent over four years driving the commercial strategy for the Group’s fastest-growing division. He also held strategic roles at Liquid Thread (Starcom MediaVest Group/Publicis), where he coordinated creative and sales efforts for high-level digital content initiatives.

An alumnus of the Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación (CECC) in Mexico City with a degree in Advertising, Germán further refined his executive expertise with a postgraduate degree in Innovation & Digital Strategy from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Based in Mexico City, he remains dedicated to fostering high-level professional partnerships and driving innovation across the global media landscape.
